Synopsis
After a miraculous but questionable discovery, stem cell researcher Dr. William Chen suffers a massive stroke leaving him paralyzed. Slowly the life he knew disappears. His wife leaves him. He’s left to waste away in a hospital bed. Dr. Chen can’t take it anymore. He’s forced to kill his way out of the hospital, attempting to get his old life back.

that embrace and then fracture those ideas.
As a film, commercial, and music video director, Iqbal's videos have received over 300M views. His work has been awarded
Vimeo Staff Picks and featured in NOWNESS, DAZED, Vice, Directors Notes, Booooooom, Feature Shoot, and The Atlantic.
His clients and collaborators include Nike, Adidas, Google, Spotify, Pinterest, Facebook, H&M, Viacom, Snapchat, Microsoft,
Conde Nast, Airtable, Nixon, Air France, and many others. He has worked with ad agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy
& Mather, B-Reel, Gut, Geometry, Meredith, Hill Holiday, Ace Content, Mono, Wunderman Thompson and others.
He was a 2021 Commercial Directors Diversity Program (CDDP) Fellow and has been recognized with a Shots showcase as well
as awards from the AT&T Entertainment Project, the Shiny Awards, and numerous film festivals.
Iqbal graduated from Stanford University with degrees in biology and creative writing and completed his MFA degree in film
production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. He has developed feature film projects with Disney, Sony, and Fox. His
scripts have been semifinalists for the Sundance Lab and the Academy Awards Nicholl Fellowship.
